By using VoiceScribe you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool.
The service
VoiceScribe is a free, browser-based transcription tool provided by RunTimeZero on an as-is basis. No registration is required. All processing occurs locally on your device; no audio or transcript data is transmitted to RunTimeZero.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use VoiceScribe to:
- Transcribe audio you do not have the legal right to process
- Record other individuals without their knowledge or consent where required by law
- Generate content that is defamatory, abusive, or violates applicable law
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the tool or its components
No warranty
VoiceScribe is provided "as is" without any warranty of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Transcription output may contain errors. Do not rely on it for legally binding, medical, or safety-critical purposes without independent verification.
Limitation of liability
RunTimeZero is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of VoiceScribe, including errors in transcription output or temporary unavailability of the service.
Third-party components
VoiceScribe uses open-source components including Transformers.js (Apache 2.0) and model weights distributed by Hugging Face under their respective licences. These are governed by their own terms, which you implicitly accept when the model is fetched to your browser.
Intellectual property
The VoiceScribe interface, design system, and application code are the property of RunTimeZero. The underlying AI model weights are owned by their respective authors and distributed under open licences.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue VoiceScribe at any time without notice. Continued use after changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
