Privacy Policy
The short version
VoiceScribe processes all audio exclusively on your device. No audio, no transcript, and no usage data is transmitted to RunTimeZero servers or any third party we control. There are no accounts, no cookies of our own, and no analytics on this page.
Audio data
When you record via microphone or upload a file, the audio is held in your browser's volatile memory only for the duration of processing. After the transcript is generated, the audio data is released. We never access, receive, store, or log your audio.
AI model download
On first use, VoiceScribe fetches a compact speech recognition model from Hugging Face (huggingface.co). This download is between your browser and Hugging Face's public CDN; RunTimeZero is not involved. Hugging Face may log standard CDN request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) under their own privacy policy. The model is then stored in your browser's IndexedDB and reused on subsequent visits without re-downloading.
Advertising
This page may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies or device identifiers to personalise ads based on your activity across the web. VoiceScribe's own processing is entirely separate from and unaffected by these ads. You can manage Google ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.
Local storage
VoiceScribe uses IndexedDB solely to cache the AI model for performance. No personal data, audio, or transcript text is persisted. You can clear this cache at any time via your browser's developer tools (Application → IndexedDB).
Third-party services
- Google Fonts — typography assets loaded from fonts.googleapis.com (standard CDN headers may be logged by Google).
- jsDelivr CDN — the Transformers.js library is loaded from cdn.jsdelivr.net.
- Hugging Face Hub — model weights fetched on first use, as described above.
RunTimeZero has no access to any data collected by these services under their own policies.
Children
VoiceScribe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the tool evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
